My Experience About Internship Engineering.

     Internship is one of the subject that has to be finished at Civil Engineering Diponegoro University. Something special about this subject is when we have to work on a certaint project all alone. In other universities, we may take a group of students to finish this subject. At Diponegoro University, we must do it alone and only allowed to take a new project that has never taken by other students at Diponegoro University. So, could you imagine that? we must compete with so many collegemates with the limited amount of project. The other specification of the project is it must locate outside Semarang. Oke, we're going to talk about the type of the project. If we choose to take internship on building project, then the building must be totally minimal 5 stories. If it's project is bridge, then it must be minimal 50 M lenght. We also take dam project, but I don't remember the term of the project.
     Some difficulty to search for the project that I face was I didn't have the connection that work as Contractor. So, it's totally tough for me to begin the seeking. I decided to search the project in Jakarta since Jakarta is the biggest City in Indonesia so it must be fulfilled with so many projects. That's just my consideration. The first seeking, I accompanied by my sister, we rode around Jakarta. When I saw the project, I stopped the motorcycle and asked the people near the project whether I could take internship on its project. If lucky, they would talk to us with kindness. Sometimes, I met some people with bad behavior. They would talk to me with no respect. At the first time, I surprised with this kind of behavior. Is it difficult to talk to people with a little respect? But I took this event as a lesson to my life.
